The Jewel of Woods Cove. Recently featured in House Beautiful magazine, this completely reimagined cottage contains more magic per square foot than nearly any other residence. Originally constructed in the 1930s, the current owners enlisted the imagination of famed designer, John Wooden to bring the original structure back to life. The interior features refinished oak floors, Waterworks Studios fittings and fixtures, a Bertazzoni range, Concept Studios antique Moroccan tiles and expansive, articulating steel frame windows in the kitchen, bedroom and bath. Working with a large parcel and an abundance of large, mature trees, landscape architect, Molly Wood of Molly Wood Garden Design executed her vision to create a seamless flow of energy between the indoors and out. The garden is comprised of three separate and distinct areas with with an outdoor dining table and banquette in Perennials fabric, custom fire pit adorned with native Laguna Beach shells and a separate, covered outdoor living room. Garden lighting provides for an illuminated, relaxing evening experience. Simply put, this property is poetry.
